Overview

 This is the most common work permit, required for foreigners employed by a Polish employer based on a contract.


Key Requirements

  • Valid job offer from a Polish employer.
  • Employment contract or civil law contract.

Typically issued for up to 3 years, with the possibility of renewal.

For foreigners serving as board members of a company who reside in Poland for more than 6 months within a 12-month period.

Overview

 For foreigners sent to Poland for more than 30 days in a calendar year by a foreign employer to work in its branch or subsidiary.


Key Requirements

  • Employment contract with a foreign employer.
  • Assignment to the Polish branch or subsidiary.
  • Proof of the relationship between the foreign company and the Polish entity.


Duration

Typically issued for the duration of the assignment, up to 3 years, with the possibility of renewal

Type D Work Permit

Seasonal Work Permit (Type S)

Type C Work Permit

Overview

For foreigners sent to Poland by a foreign employer for the purpose of providing export services. This includes cases where a service agreement has been concluded between the foreign employer and a Polish client.


Key Requirements

  • Service agreement between the foreign employer and Polish client.
  • Employment contract with a foreign employer.
  • Detailed description of the services to be provided.


Duration

 Typically issued for the duration of the service contract, up to 3 years, with the possibility of renewal.
